TERRIFIC tractors turned out in force for a special fundraising event.

Some 70 vehicles turned out on a rainy Sunday to take part in a Vale of Clwyd tractor run.

It was held to raise money for the DPJ Foundation and Epilepsy Cymru.

The tractors started off from Ruthin Farmers' Auction and they enjoyed a halfway stop at Coleg Cambria Llysfasi.

They visited the surrounding villages before finally returning back to Ruthin later in the day.

Representatives of both the DPJ Foundation and Epilepsy Cymru were instrumental in the success of the event, which has managed to raise in the region of £1,600 for the worthy causes.
