A SIX-MILE stretch of the A494 in Denbighshire was closed due to snow and ice.
Traffic Wales said the road was closed between Ruthin and Llanferres due to "poor driving conditions" on Wednesday.
It urged people to find an alterative route if travelling in the area.
Traffic Wales issued an update at 2pm to state that the snow and ice has been cleared and the road has reopened.
