The festive season has been back in the spotlight in Denbighshire.
Clwyd South MP Simon Baynes recently visited Llangollen's Ysgol Bryn Collen to congratulate pupil Luca Burgoyne on his entry in the MP's annual Christmas card competition.
Luca's design was chosen as a runner-up in the competition.
Last month, Mr Baynes attended the school assembly with all the children and staff and, during the visit, he congratulated Luca on his fantastic entry.
Mr Baynes praised the school pupils and staff for a fantastic visit and was able to hear from headteacher Lisa Howden about the school’s expansion plans.

Mr Baynes added: “I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Ysgol Bryn Collen and it was a great opportunity to congratulate Luca on being one of the runners-up in my Christmas card competition and also to meet with staff and pupils.
