THE A5 near Corwen has been closed in both directions after a road traffic collision this afternoon.
The section between Corwen and Glyndyfrdwy has been closed after a 'serious' collision, and police believe the road will be closed for several hours.
Drivers have been told to find an alternative route and expect delays.
A Traffic North Wales spokesperson said: "A5 Corwen, Llidiart-y-parc travelling in both directions is currently closed due to a serious collision.
"We anticipate the road will remain closed for several hours.
"Please find an alternative route and expect delays if you're in the area."
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Road closure: Due to a RTC road will be closed on the A5 outside of Carrog going into Corwen."
