A LLANGOLLEN hotel and restaurant has been handed a new food hygiene rating, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
Abbey Grange Hotel, at Llantysilio, Llangollen, was given a three-out-of-five score after assessment on February 26.

The hotel’s management of food safety and hygienic food handling was rated ‘generally satisfactory’, while its cleanliness and condition of facilities and building was rated ‘good’.
The Abbey Grange has a rating of 2.5 on TripAdvisor from 388 reviews, with the most recent review telling others to “avoid this filthy, unfriendly pub”.
It means that of Denbighshire's 260 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 178 (68 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
