A SUMMER League team is simmering as the beginning of the new season fast approaches.
Chef Bryn Williams is backing Llandyrnog for glory ahead of the big kick-off, with the new league season all set to get underway on Monday.
Bryn has supplied his backing by sponsoring the smart new Llandyrnog kit.
In a post on Twitter, Bryn said: "We will be sponsoring our local football team over the next 3 years, all about grassroots football."
A post on Llandyrnog's Twitter account read: "New shirts just arrived today so @Brynwchef of our sponsors @brynskitchen joined us at tonight’s friendly to present a shirt."
Ahead of the friendly at Rhewl, which finished 1-1, Bryn presented the shirt to team manager Jimmy McNally, club president Mally Hughes and vice-chairman Russ Jones.

Among the lots were the match-worn gloves worn by Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma during the dramatic Euro 2020 final against England at Wembley.
