INTERNATIONAL footballers have taken a liking to a Vale of Clwyd playing surface!
Denbigh Town Football Club's Central Park ground is this month playing host to a pair of international contests for the Cymru women U19s team.
And the two encounters resulted in big wins for the Welsh side in the European Women's Under-19s Championship, which have seen the team promoted to League A.
Following on from last week's 5-2 success versus Kazakhstan, Monday afternoon saw Cymru ease to a 4-0 triumph versus Estonia.

McGowan's second goal of the contest concluded the scoring.
Nicola Anderson is manager of the Cymru squad and she selected seven Adran Premier League players within the squad, six from Cardiff City and one from Cardiff Met.
Other squad members included players from Liverpool, West Ham, Brighton & Hove Albion, West Brom, Birmingham and Tottenham.
