Mr Spinks, an electrician, was said to have lost control of his motorbike while negotiating a left-hand bend, and it crossed into the path of an Audi vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.

He made contact with the Audi, and the injuries he sustained ultimately proved fatal.

John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.

Following his death, Mr Spinks was described by North Wales Police as a “much-loved family man” and a father to two girls.
