DENBIGH castle will once again play host to the town's annual fireworks display.

Denbigh Town Council have confirmed that the event will take place on Sunday, November 5 at 7pm.

A spokesperson for the town council said: "We are delighted to advise that the annual fireworks event will go ahead this year. A warm welcome to all.

"Kindly note that sparklers are prohibited at the event and please make sure that children are supervised at all times.

"Thank you to Lockstock for their annual financial contribution towards the fireworks as well as their roundabout advertising.

"Also a big thank you to all the volunteers from various groups and organisations in town for stewarding the event and for clearing the area on Sunday morning."

The hugely popular event took place in 2022 for the first time since 2019. This was due to the ongoing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
