Amber warning for strong winds in North Wales
AN AMBER weather warning is in place for North Wales as the region braces itself for Storm Isha.
Storm Isha is expected to bring strong winds to several parts of the UK, including the North of England, Northern Ireland, and parts of Scotland and Wales.
In Wales, the amber warning covers Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey.
The severe weather is expected to hit between 6pm on Sunday through to 9am on Monday morning.
There is likely to be disruption to travel and other services.

What the Met Office says to expect:
- There is a good chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage
- Probably some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs
- Longer journey times and cancellations likely, as road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected
- Some roads and bridges likely to close
- Injuries and danger to life is likely from large waves and beach material being thrown onto coastal roads, sea fronts and properties
The latest warning comes after four days of snow and ice in North Wales.
