MULTIPLE road works taking place in the Llangollen area are set to cause traffic delays.

Drivers are faced with multiple road works in the Llangollen area with some expected to last several weeks.

Wales & West Utilities has a scheme currently in progress which involves the temporary closure of several roads as identified on the One Network interactive maps.

There are currently diversions in place on Fron Bache Road and Market Street (marked in blue) with all appropriate signs posted on site.

Current road works

Junction and crossing improvements under three-way traffic light management between Chapel Street and Castle Street along the A5 from January 9 until February 17.

Junction Vicarage Road through Fron Bache to Junction Fron Castell is having gas works from January 2 until Friday, January 26.

Junction Hill Street and Vicarage Road is having gas works from Monday, January 22 until Friday, February 2.

East Street is being resurfaced between Sunday, January 21 and Sunday, February 4.

Upcoming road works

Junction Hall Street to Vicarage Road onto Hill Street will have gas works from February 5 until March 15.

The Panorama Walk will have drainage works from February 26 until February 29.

Outside The Corn Mill Dee Lane will be having overhead service works for one day only on Friday, March 1.

Junction Bache Mill Road onto Regent Street via Butlers Hill will be having gas works from March 25 until April 12.

Junction Bache Mill Road up to Grange Lodge along Grange Road will be having gas works from April 15 until May 7. 

Junction of Chapel Street following on to Oak Street will have gas works from April 29 until May 14.
