A NUMBER of police vehicles were present on the roads across parts of Wrexham and Denbighshire this morning - and here's why.
Residents across Ruabon, Acrefair and Llangollen reported several police vehicles on the roads earlier today (March 7).
North Wales Police have since confirmed they were pursuing a suspect.
A police spokesperson said: "Shortly after 9.20am this morning, we received a report of an incident in the area of Chirk, following which a police pursuit ensued.
"The vehicle was brought to a stop by officers along the A5 in Carrog, Denbighshire, shortly after 10.30am and a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
"He remains in police custody."
Many residents witnessed the incident this morning and shared their concerns on social media.
