A SECTION of the A5 has been shut due to an overturned lorry.
Motorists have been urged to avoid the area between Cerrigydrudion and Corwen while emergency services deal with the incident.
The lorry has overturned at junction of the B4501 (Bala turn) at about 10am today (Monday, May 13).
Traffic is said to be queuing Between Pentrefoelas and Corwen.

North Wales Police said: "Can motorists avoid the A5 between Cerrigydrudion and Corwen due to a overturned lorry.
"This is at the junction with the B4501. Please find an alternative route.
Earlier today, Traffic Wales tweeted: "A5 Cerrigydrudion closed in both directions due to a collision. Emergency services are on scene | Please avoid the area. Updates to follow."
