The Denbigh Rotary rotary club has donated £1,000 to Marie Curie.
Club members presented a cheque to the charity, which provides end-of-life care, after a meal at the Plough Inn, St Asaph.
The money was raised through various events held by the club throughout the year, including the popular Boxing Day Roll the Barrel.
The club also welcomed Peter Hughes, a fellow Rotarian, to discuss his work as a counsellor and advocate for Marie Curie.
Mr Hughes shared his long-term involvement with the charity and how forming close personal connections with people experiencing trauma has been rewarding for both him and those he helps.
Marie Curie is the largest end-of-life care charity in the UK, offering support to patients and their families directly through their hospices and hospice-at-home service.
