A5 near Corwen reportedly blocked today after crash

A STRETCH of the A5 in Denbighshire is blocked this afternoon (Friday, October 31) following a crash.

Traffic monitoring service Inrix reports that the incident has happened close to the Rhug Estate farm shop, near Corwen.

The road is reportedly blocked both ways and there is heavy traffic in the area.

Inrix reports: "A5 both ways blocked, queueing traffic due to accident at Rhug Estate."

Traffic Wales has confirmed the road is closed both ways and is urging motorists to find alternative routes.
