Search the Public Notice PortalA traffic order has been issued for temporary closures on various roads in Bodfari.
The closures are to facilitate resurfacing works, according to Denbighshire County Council.
Pedestrians will still be able to access the roads during the closure period.
The order is effective from November 21, 2025 for an 18-month period, or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
The works are expected to last approximately until December 5, 2025.
Two specific lengths of road will be affected.
The first is the stretch of B5429 Nant Gwilym to the junction of A541 Bodfari, extending from its junction with B5429 Pistyll to Nant Gwilym to its junction with Bodfari village to Pontruffydd Cottage junction with A541.
The second affected area is the B5429 Pistyll to Nant Gwilym, extending from its junction with B5429 Nant Gwilym to junction A541 Bodfari to its junction with Pont y Cambwll to the junction near Ffynnon Beuno.
Alternative routes have been provided for both northbound and southbound traffic.
Northbound traffic will be redirected via the A541, A525 (via High Street, The Roe), A55, and B5429.
Southbound traffic will be redirected via the B5429, A55, A525 (via Chester Street), and A541.
The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing by Denbighshire County Council.
