Part of the A55 was down to one lane due to a 'carriageway defect', Traffic Wales has announced.
The westbound carriageway was down to a single lane, sparking delays in the area, as people head out.
Traffic was already moving slowly in the area as a result, and there was no time scale on how long the lane will be shut.
On social media, Traffic Wales said: "#A55 J27 St Asaph travelling Westbound.
"Lane one currently closed due to a carriageway defect.
"Further updates to follow."
At the moment, the rest of the A55 in that area appears to be moving.
At around 1:40pm, the lane was reopened with the issue now sorted.
