A ROAD has re-opened following a crash between a car and a lorry.
The incident happened on the A525 in Rhewl, near Ruthin, earlier this afternoon (Monday, January 5).
Both ways were 'blocked' and there was slow traffic due to the accident between Lady Bagot's Drive (Rhewl) and Pentre Llanrhaeadr (Pentre Llanrhaeadr).
A statement from NWP Conwy & Denbigh Rural just before 1pm on January 5 said: "The A525 in Rhewl, near Ruthin is closed following a road traffic collision between a car and a lorry. The emergency services are at the scene so please avoid the area for the time being.
"Thanks in advance for your cooperation."
The force has since confirmed (just after 3pm): "The road has since re-opened. Thank you for your patience."
