Veterans are being invited to attend a community event offering support and a chance to reconnect.
Dwyfor Meirionnydd MP Liz Saville Roberts is behind the gathering, which will take place in Caernarfon on Saturday, February 7, at Porthi Dre from 12pm to 3pm.
The event aims to bring together former armed forces personnel and their families in an informal setting, offering tailored advice and a welcoming space to socialise.
Several organisations will be on hand to offer guidance and support, including Help for Heroes, Citizens Advice, Woody’s Lodge, SSAFA, the British Legion, and the Veterans Commissioner for Wales.
Liz Saville Roberts MP said: "Caernarfon has a long history of supporting those who have served in the Armed Forces, and I am committed to respecting that tradition.
"In Parliament, I seek to raise the rights and welfare of veterans, particularly in relation to mental health support, housing, and health in general, and this event is another way to ensure that practical support reaches those who need it most.
"Yet many Veterans continue to face challenges long after their service ends, whether navigating complex support systems, managing health concerns, or simply finding spaces where they feel understood and valued.
"Rural areas like northwest Wales can present additional hurdles, making community-based support even more important.
"This event is about creating a space where people can come together, share experiences, and access help from trusted organisations.
"I want to thank Veterans’ support services and charities such as Help for Heroes, Woody’s Lodge, and SSAFA for their commitment to attend this event and for the incredible work they do supporting veterans and their families across Gwynedd and beyond.
"Their dedication makes a real difference to people’s lives, and I’m pleased to work alongside them to promote this vital support.
"I look forward to welcoming Veterans and their families to this event."
The event will also include a light lunch and refreshments, giving attendees a relaxed environment in which to connect and share stories.
It is designed not only as a support hub but also as a social event where old friends can reconnect and new friendships can be formed.
