A road in Conwy is set to close to vehicles due to forthcoming works by BT.
The section of Pen Cefn to A543 Bylchau, from its junction with A543 to the junction of Plas Panton, will be affected.
Conwy County Borough Council announced the closure, stating it will commence on January 12, 2026, and could last up to two weeks.
The prohibition on vehicle movement is a necessity to allow for BT to carry out important works.
However, there will be an alternative route for motorists to follow.
This diversion will be via the A543 to the A5, onto the A470, A548, and A544, and in reverse for the other direction.
Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency Services.
Conwy County Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order.
The local authority moved to make the order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Through traffic will be temporarily prohibited during the works period.
