A road in Llanrhaeadr is set to close for resurfacing work.
Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 28th January 2026 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using the entire length of the Class III road from the A525 junction to Talymarch.
The purpose of the closure is to allow resurfacing work to take place, carried out by Denbighshire County Council.
The road will be closed to all vehicles but will remain open for pedestrians throughout the closure.
The temporary traffic order for the closure will become effective from February 13, 2026 and will be in place for up to 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever comes first.
However, the council hopes to have the work completed and the road reopened by February 24, 2026.
The alternative route will be as signposted on site.
The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing by Denbighshire County Council.
