The closure will be in place from August 3 to August 9, to allow Denbighshire County Council to carry out resurfacing work.
The road closure affects the section of Lon Jack Ffwrn that runs north-east from a point 310 metres north-east of its junction with the B5428, and continues for approximately 1.1 kilometres.
The closure will be in force along a section of the road between Henllan and the county boundary.
Through traffic will be prohibited, with an alternative route signposted locally.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works.
The order allows for the closure to remain in place for up to 18 months if required, but work is expected to be completed within the scheduled week.
