TWO Lakesiders are international class.
It was a proud night in Barry last week for two key Bala Town figures.
Chris Venables and goalkeeper Ashley Morris were both named in the starting line-up for Wales C's big clash against England C.
In a very competitive game at Jenner Park, it was the visitors who went in with a 1-0 lead at the interval thanks to a goal from Fejiri Okenababirhie after nine minutes.
Turning to the second half and Okenababirhie added another two goals to seal his hat-trick.
However, it was by no means all one-way traffic and Carmarthen Town’s Mark Jones struck on 57 minutes, before Bala's Chris Venables fired home with 13 minutes left to play to set up a grandstand finish.
While England held on to win 3-2, it was an extremely proud night for Venables and Morris to represent their country.
