LLANGOLLEN held their nerve over the weekend to record a slender Division Two success.
An exciting clash at Halkyn concluded with the Tower Fields side running out winners by just nine runs.
Batting first after losing the toss, Llangollen were dismissed for 144 in the final over of their innings.
Tom King sparkled with his knock of 62, well backed up by Jordan Mash (24) and Richard Hughes (21).
Halkyn got as close as 135 before they were bundled out in response.
The wickets were shared by the impressive Arthur Jenkins (5-33), James Moore-Stevens (2-26), Craig Boyle (1-12) and Jordan Mash (1-21).
