LLANRHAEADR 4

JUST one more unbeaten home record remains in this season's Summer League.

Ahead of Thursday evening, both Cefn and Clawddnewydd could boast 100 per cent winning records at home in 2018.

However, Mark Lewis' Clawdd lost this proud record as they were well beaten 4-0 by an in-form Llanrhaeadr outfit.

The loss, which was Clawddnewydd's fifth of the season, saw them slip out of the top-two.

There was an impeccably observed minute's silence ahead of kick-off in memory of Bryn Jones, who tragically died the previous weekend.

Reflecting on the match, Clawdd boss Lewis stated: "We were missing players, but in fairness Llanrhaeadr were missing players as well."

Two goals apiece from Wil Roberts and Tom Roberts did the trick to hand Llanrhaeadr their fifth win on the bounce away from home.

The star player on the night for Clawddnewydd was Ryan Roberts.
