UNSURPRISINGLY, given the weather of late, a beautiful and warm day marked a special golfing event over the weekend.
Sunday saw Tanya Morris holding her lady captain's day at Denbigh Golf Club.
The overall winner was Jeanette Parry, with a scorching 42 points, which was four points clear of the chasing pack.
During the previous Tuesday, Denbigh ladies competed in the centenary greensomes competition.
Winning with a tally of 42 points were Eleanor Wilde and Pauline Evans, who will head to Cardigan in the next round.
