A GR-EIGHT afternoon means that Llangollen are within just three points of top spot.
Llan are now up to second spot in the Wrexham Area League Division One rankings, within touching distance of frontrunners Plas Madoc.
The Tower Fields side moved up in the table on the back of their thumping 8-1 weekend triumph at home to Cefn Mawr Rangers.
Llangollen benefited from a pair of own goals on the day, while there were also two goals apiece from Josh Langford and Kevin Day.
Further strike from the direction of Niall Broe and Ben Realey helped Llangollen to their fourth league win of the season.
Ben Duffy bagged Cefn Mawr Rangers' solitary response.
Turning to the Premier Division and there was no weekend action for Llanuwchllyn.
The Gwynedd villagers were originally scheduled to tackle Penycae, however their opponents were in Welsh Cup action on Saturday.
