THE winning run continues for Ruthin Ladies.
They are through to the next round of the North Wales Hockey League Cup following a 4-0 win at home to Eirias 2nds.
After a slightly sluggish start, Ruthin found their form when Llinos Jones won a short corner.
The Eirias keeper made two great saves, but Claerwen Render converted from the third rebound to give the hosts the lead.
Turning to the second half and another penalty corner was won when Llinos Jones was fouled.
Once again, Claerwen Render scored from the set piece.
Llinos Jones bagged the remaining two goals to complete Ruthin's fine victory.
The star players for Ruthin on the day were Erin Wykes and Llinos Jones.
