THERE were a mixed bag of results for Ruthin Town Youth FC over the weekend.
Seth Dolben Hughes netted four goals as Ruthin U-13s defeated Rhostyllen 8-2.
Charlie Gardner grabbed a hat-trick and Sion Davies Robson netted the other goal.
Aled Jones, Cian Williams, Rueben Astbury and Gruffudd Owen were on target as Ruthin U-12s beat Coedpoeth 4-0.
In the Charisma Cup, strikes from Oli Lennon and Sam Griffiths helped Ruthin U-15s to secure a 2-0 success versus Gresford.
Lewis Lloyd Hughes (2) and Huw Garside struck as Ruthin Blues U-14s were edged out 4-3 by Gresford, while Ifan Tudor Hughes was on target for Ruthin Town U-14s in their 3-1 loss at Borras Park Albion.
Elsewhere, Ruthin Town U-16s were edged out 1-0 versus Kinnerton.
