IT'S a case of winner takes all tonight (Monday).

The Denbigh and District Darts League's Division A title will go down to the wire, with an epic contest completing the campaign.

Masons A host the Wingmen tonight, with the title up for grabs.

Wingmen will claim the championship with a draw or better, while victory will give Masons A the crown.

Reigning champions Masons A crushed the unlucky Kinmel Arms A 8-0 to post a 10-point haul last week, with Dave Davies hitting a 15 dart leg.

The Wingmen hit back with a sensational 8-0 victory over fourth-placed Railway A, with Nick Hailes in fine form for the Wings outfit helping himself to a 180 and a 17-dart leg.

The Wingmen also played their game in hand and they were held 4-4 for the second time this season by the same opposition in the shape of third-placed Wings A.

Wins by Paul Griffiths, Rich Martin, Nick Hailes and Dave Cooke grabbed the Wingmen a crucial point.

The top-two now face off in the last game of the season, with a win for either side giving them the title.

However, if the game is drawn, the Wingmen will take the league crown by virtue of their one-point advantage going into the contest.

In the second tier, Wings B are so close to promotion, although they were held in their latest game by the Plough Inn.

Wings B could have scooped the title with a big victory, but the stubborn Plough outfit dug in to secure a share of the spoils, with captain Darrell Simpson hitting a maximum.

In tonight's end-of-season games, Wings B need a 5-3 victory over White Lion B to be crowned champions.

The chasing White Lion A need a heavy victory over the Cons Club and for the Wings B to capitulate in their game to sneak the title.
