LLANDYRNOG 1
NANTGLYN 3
WHILE the early season fixtures have been tricky for Nantglyn, they still find themselves in the top-three of the Summer League.
They've had matches versus the likes of Cefn, Llanrhaeadr and Henllan to open the campaign, but Nantglyn climbed to third in the standings on the back of their 3-1 Tuesday night success at Llandyrnog.
Goals from Gruff Roberts, Ifan Batty and Gwion Evans did the trick to hand Nantglyn a third victory of the season.
Although they were 3-0 adrift, Llandyrnog refused to throw in the towel and they concluded the scoring with a fine strike.
Josh Jones pulled the ball back to John Jones, who find the net from 20 yards out.
The best player on the night for the hosts was Josh Jones, while John Jones certainly made a difference when he was introduced off the bench.
