LLANRHAEADR continue to lead the way in the Summer League standings following a successful Monday.

Win number five for the season was secured via a 4-2 verdict in their home clash with early season frontrunners Llanfair.

The visitors could have been out of sight by the interval, though, and two goals from Rich Lloyd had them 2-0 up inside the opening 20 minutes.

Dafydd Evans hit the crossbar twice, while Kyle Davies missed a cracking opportunity from close range.

Llanrhaeadr pulled a goal back prior to the interval and they then took control in the second period.

Goals from Tomos Hywel (2), Kevin Evans and Osian Audley saw the hosts turn things around.

Nantglyn maintained their hold on second place thanks to their 5-1 success at an improved Caerwys.

Geraint Jones struck twice for the visitors, with Gruff Roberts, Dafydd Owen and Gwion Bibby also on target.

Ruari Wood's penalty supplied the Caerwys response.

Henllan grabbed their fifth win on the bounce with a 2-0 success at Clawddnewydd.

David Lawson-Cooke and Dewi Jones got the goals, while Cefn returned to winning ways via a 3-2 triumph at battling Llandyrnog.

Rhys Johnson (2) and Kieran Hilditch sealed the three points for Alun "Junior" Owen's charges, with Pat Hinchcliffe and Craig Jones netting for Llandyrnog.

It's now four wins on the trot for Llangynhafal, who edged out hosts Ysceifiog 2-1.

Tom Sharples and Alex Webster grabbed key goals for the lads in orange, with Marcus Penrhyn-Jones netting for Ysceifiog.
