LLANFAIR 1
LLANDYRNOG 2
ROGER Beech turned back the years with a peach of a goal during Tuesday's clash of the Llans.
However, it wasn't enough to give Llanfair the three points in their home clash with in-form Llandyrnog.
After a tough start to the season, Jimmy McNally's charges made it back-to-back wins via their 2-1 verdict.
Two goals from Josh Jones had Llandyrnog in control by the time the half-time whistle was sounded.
"We were awful in the first half," admitted Llanfair boss Dylan Pugh.
The hosts improved in the second period and Kyle Davies missed a glorious chance from close range to halve the deficit.
There was some joy for the home side when Roger Beech struck a superb 25-yard free kick into the top corner of the net.
Although Llanfair applied late pressure, Llandyrnog hung on to secure their second win of the season.
