RHEWL 4

A HAT-TRICK from Ian Williams made sure that Rhewl began the second half of the season in the best possible fashion.

Williams' treble blast capped a good team performance from Rhewl, who secured a 4-2 win during their Thursday night visit to Clawddnewydd.

The meeting between the teams on the opening night of the campaign ended in a draw, but Rhewl were the better side on this occasion as they grabbed their third victory of 2019.

Dyfan Lloyd grabbed the other goal for Sion Roberts' charges.

Tirion Griffiths netted twice for Mark Lewis' hosts, with one of his goals coming from the penalty spot.
