WILL Nantglyn be celebrating a title triumph come the end of the season?

It won't be a surprise if they are, especially on the back of a five-star Thursday night display that saw off defending champions Cefn.

Nantglyn are one of four-or-five teams in with a shot of claiming the crown this season and a superb display from Gruff Roberts saw them secure their eighth success of the campaign at Cefn.

Man of the match Roberts grabbed a hat-trick on the night, capped by a brilliant 25-yard strike for Nantglyn's fifth goal.

Top scorer Geraint Jones took his tally for 2019 up to 14 goals for the visitors and also on target for Nantglyn was Ifan Jones.

Ellis Davies, Owain Roberts and top scorer Jake Walker were all on the scoresheet for Cefn, who now find themselves nine points adrift of leaders Llangynhafal.

Meanwhile, Nantglyn are five points off the pace in third spot, but they are running into form at the right stage of the season.
