SPOT-ON Ruthin Town U-12s have made progress in the NEWFA Cup.
They defeated hosts Coedpoeth 3-1 on penalties, with Leo Jamie Jones, Joe Threlfall and Deian Jones on target during the shootout.
Earlier, Leo Jones and Dafydd Edwards scored as the tie ended 2-2.
Aled Jones fired in a hat-trick as Ruthin Town U-13s made progress in the NEWFA Cup with a 14-0 win over Penyffordd.
Further goals came from Gruffudd Hughes Owen (2), Owen Robinson (2), Gwern Doherty (2), Efan Davies, Fin Jones, Owain Williams, Rhys Jones and Sami Twist.
Making it a hat-trick of NEWFA Cup triumphs for the club were Ruthin Town U-14s, who defeated Connah's Quay 7-0.
Iwan Hughes (2), Charlie Gardner (2), Luke Molmans, Sion Robson and Harry Martin got the goals.
Turning to the league and Ethan Crooks netted three times as Ruthin Town U-15s claimed a 9-3 victory at Coedpoeth.
Aleksander Cyra struck twice, while Meilir Williams, George Mitchell, Aaron Young and Ifan Tudor also found the target.
Ruthin U-15s Blues lost out 4-0 in their home meeting with Rhosddu.
