THERE was a mixed bag of results for Ruthin Town Youth FC sides to open 2020.
Leading the way were Ruthin Town U-13s, who claimed a magnificent 7-0 home success versus Coedpoeth.
Elsewhere, Elis Jones grabbed four goals as Ruthin Town U-12s won 6-2 at Coedpoeth.
Dafydd Evans and an own goal completed the Ruthin tally.
Denbighshire delight belonged to Ruthin Blues U-12s with their 2-1 triumph at Llangollen Youth U-12s.
Sion Williams and Peter Baldry got the goals for Ruthin.
Despite Harry Martin's goal, Ruthin U-14s suffered a 2-1 loss to Corwen, while Ruthin Blues U-15s were beaten 4-2 by Brymbo.
Josh Newcombe and Lewis Lloyd Hughes were on target.
Aleksander Cyra (2) and Charlie Tokarczyk struck as Ruthin U-15s lost 4-3 at Borras Park Albion.
