Youth football
DESPITE the stormy weather that was witnessed over the weekend, one youth team was able to take to the field of play.
In action on Saturday were Ruthin Town U-12s, via a home clash versus Brickfield in the Wrexham and District Youth League.
In the end, it was a terrific day for Ruthin, who ran out 4-1 winners.
Leading the charge for the home side was Dafydd Edwards, who netted a hat-trick, with the remaining goal being netted by Elgan Ellis.
