SYCHDYN 1
CAERWYS 2
CRACKING Caerwys are on the march in a knockout competition.
The Flintshire outfit dodged the showers over the weekend to successfully make it through to the next round of the NEWFA Horace Wynne Cup.
In the second round of the competition, Caerwys were tasked with a trip to Sychdyn.
In another good display, it was Caerwys who came out on top by a 2-1 margin.
Both of the visitors' goals were netted by Tom Cummings as Caerwys maintained their excellent run of form.
More cup action awaits Caerwys this Saturday.
They will play host to Penyffordd Lions in the first round of this season's Clwyd League (East) President's Cup.
