RUTHIN TOWN Football Club’s squad for the 2020/21 campaign is beginning to take shape as the club began to announce its playing and coaching staff via social media this week.

Once again, the club will be playing in tier two in the upcoming season - the league formerly known as the Huws Gray Alliance and the Cymru North among other names, which has now bee re-branded as the FAW Championship North.

With Chris Hardy having stepped down from the role as Ruthin Town manager during the coronavirus lockdown, former Brymbo pair Phil Hudson (Manager) and Tommy Holmes (Assistant) will take over the reins in 2020/21.

This week, the club welcomed Steve O’Connor (below) to the role of first team coach. Described as a ‘cracking young coach’, he will work closely with Hudson and Holmes next season.
