BALA TOWN added two more new faces to their ranks on transfer deadline day.

The Lakesiders announced the signings of Ryan Pryce and Jon Rushton just hours before the transfer window closed on October 16.

The duo became the club's eighth and ninth new signings for the 2020/21 JD Cymru Premier campaign respectively.

Their arrival at Maes Tegid follows on from the signings of Alex Ramsay (Caernarfon), Nathan Peate (Cefn Druids), Antony Kay (Chorley), Will Evans (Cardiff Met), Liam Davies (Curzon Ashton), Raul Correia (Southport) and Llyr Morris (Ruthin Town) over the summer.

Defender Pryce, signed following his release from Cardiff City over the summer, is no stranger to Wales' top-flight having previously played for The New Saints and Cefn Druids.

The 23-year-old also impressed a number of Premier League clubs during the Jamie Vardy V9 Academy Trials, which gives non-league players a chance to move into a professional.

Pryce was a regular in the U23’s squad at Cardiff and will wear the number 23 shirt for Bala Town.

Upon signing for the club, Pryce said: “It’s a good club that do things the right way and seem to be getting stronger each year. Hopefully we can be in and around it and challenging”

Second deadline day signing Rushton is a goalkeeper who signs for Bala from Cymru North side Prestatyn Town.

The 30 year old has previously played for Cymru Premier rivals Connah’s Quay Nomads, where he picked up 38 league appearances and made a further three appearances in the UEFA Europa League Playoff matches.

He also had stints at Newtown and Holywell Town during his time at Nomads and has aslo played for Vauxhall Motors, Manor Athletic, Penycae and Brickfield Rangers.

He will wear the number 28 shirt for the Lakesiders.
