RUTHIN TOWN Football Club has confirmed that plans to install flood lights at their home ground have been successful.
The plans will see flood lights put in place on both pitches at the club's Memorial Park Fields venue.
A statement from the club stated that officials had been 'working hard behind the scenes' to complete a series of applications to help fund the project.
The statement added: "A huge thanks to Gethin James Jones and the team at The Building Plot who have supported RTFC with a successful planning application for Flood Lights on both our No. 1 and No. 2 Pitches.

"We hope to share a positive outcome for funding in due course. It has been a very difficult period for our Community but we will keep striving forward at RTFC.
"Thank you again to our valued volunteers, sponsors, supporters, playing and coaching staff."
Ruthin Town are set to return to action next month with the JD Cymru North division set to be granted 'elite' status once more.
