THE Masons suffered a narrow loss as they took to the oche in Superleague action.
It was the Shamrock, from Buckley, who managed to claim the spoils by a 5-3 margin.
After more than a decade away, Mark Webster returned to Superleague action with a 4-1 success in his meeting with old Clwyd county team-mate Simon Roberts.
Webster posted a tidy 86.17 three-dart average, while Pete Lewis supplied a fine average of 72.43 in his 4-0 triumph.
Also victorious for the Masons was Nick Hailes, who edged his encounter 4-3.
