CEFN continue to lead the way in the Tillwise Summer League following a busy Monday night of action.

The frontrunners bagged their sixth win of the campaign, but they were made to work hard for their 2-0 margin at home to Clawddnewydd.

Tudur Jones and Jared Roberts got the goals.

Henllan remain second, but it was a close-run thing with a 4-3 home success versus Huw Price's dangerous Llanfair.

Fresh from ending Llanrhaeadr's unbeaten start to the season, goals from Jak Newell, Dafydd Evans and Jason Alexander kept Llanfair interested.

A fifth win of 2022 was Henllan's reward, though, with their efforts coming from David Lawson-Cooke, Sam Jones, Ally Stubbs, Dewi Jones.

Llyr Morris bagged a hat-trick as Llanrhaeadr made the most of a pwerful second half display to defeat Caerwys 6-0.

A solitary goal separated the teams at the break before Llanrhaeadr pulled further clear, with the remainder of their goals coming from Kevin Evans, Dafydd Davies and Oli Derosa.

Elsewhere, Nantglyn's promising run continued as they got the better of Llandyrnog 5-1.

Ifan Batty (2), Gruff Roberts, Geraint Jones and Luke Molmans were on target for the hosts, while Craig Jones replied from the penalty spot.

Llangynhafal came from behind to record a deserved 4-1 success at home to Trefnant.

Player-boss Jared Jones had given the away side the lead via a well-placed shot, but this was soon cancelled out by Ben Smith's penalty.

Iestyn Gadd and Alun Vaughan-Evans added to the tally after the break, before Jake Roberts' late deflected strike put the gloss on the victory.

Ian Williams gave Rhewl the lead at Ysceifiog, but it was the Flintshire hosts who eventually ran out 4-1 winners.

Dan Davies struck twice and he was joined on the scoresheet by Harley Doyle and Dan Jones.
