There was also an exciting encounter at Ysceifiog, where Trefnant triumphed 4-3.
Player-boss Jared Jones grabbed a hat-trick and he was joined on the scoresheet by Matty Pendleton.
Harley Doyle, Chris House and Alex Harrison-Smith scored for Ysceifiog, who missed a penalty through Keith Ainsworth.
