A FINE fightback means Cefn have taken a giant step towards claiming this season's Tillwise Summer League.
In the biggest match of the season so far, goals from Kevin Evans and Ian Evans had second-placed Llanrhaeadr 2-0 up at half-time at leaders Cefn.
However, replies from Morgan Jones and Jake Walker saw it finish 2-2.
Goals from Sam Jones, Elgan Roberts and David Lawson-Cooke gave Henllan a 3-2 success at Llangynhafal, who hit back via Joe Williams and Sion T Roberts.
Llandyrnog (Josh Jones and Charlie Jones) beat Rhewl 2-0, while Jordan MacCarter bagged a hat-trick in Clawddnewydd's 4-2 win at Nantglyn.
Gethin Jones grabbed the other, with Gruff Roberts and Gethin Jones responding.
Ysceifiog (Ricky North and Tom Cumming) took the Alan Roberts Shield after their 2-2 draw with Caerwys (Jack Wakeman 2).
Elsewhere, Llanfair and Trefnant played out a 2-2 draw. Jason Alexander struck twice for the hosts, with player-boss Jared Jones doing likewise for Trefnant.
