ST ASAPH Seconds were involved in a real North Wales Cricket League Division Two thriller.
The Saints hosted promotion-chasing Northop Seconds, with the visitors coming out on top by just 11 runs.
Robert Alderson and Finn Jenkins both struck 28 as Northop were able to set 136 for nine (Elliot Goddard 3-5, Roger Cloete 3-19).
In reply, St Asaph were all out for 125.
Charlie Williams (46) and Matt Owens (34) got the hosts close, while Finn Jenkins claimed 4-25.
