CORWEN'S Harry Wilson certainly enjoyed his trip to Goodison Park over the weekend.
Wilson was part of a Welsh one-two as Fulham claimed a 3-1 success during their Premier League trip to Everton.
Wilson, the former Liverpool winger, and Daniel James sealed the triumph for Fulham at Goodison Park.
“It was a massive game for us,” said Wrexham-born Wilson.
“We knew coming here it was a must-win game for them, but for us as well because we wanted to get back to the levels that we’ve been at for most of the season.
“Once you lose a few games that confidence does dip and I think you can see in our performances of late.
"Hopefully this gives us the confidence to keep going for the rest of the season. It’s about finishing in that top half and as high up the table as we can.”
It leaves Everton deep in trouble, but boss Sean Dyche said: “Now it’s about taking the rest of the season on.”
