Four-handicap Frank Kiddie led Ruthin-Pwllglas Golf Club to victory in the August Am-Am tournament.
Originally from Angus, Scotland, Mr Kiddie scored five birdies, including two twos.
His teammate Ray Kennedy, from Shropshire, also contributed with five threes.
Good performances from Doug Amison and Eddie Fitzsimmons helped their team achieve a three-point win with 91 points, earning a £200 first prize.
