A QUAD bike that was stolen from a farm in St Asaph nearly 18 months ago has been found - in Wigan.
Rural residents who have recently had their own vehicles stolen will be given hope after North Wales Police confirmed it has found the Honda quad bike at an industrial unit in the Greater Manchester town, 60 miles away from St Asaph.
The Free Press reported on a series of thefts at rural premises in the Corwen and Llangollen area last year.
Police have now recovered the St Asaph quad bike and an investigation is underway.
A North Wales Police Rural Crime Team spokesperson said: "A stolen quad bike taken from a St Asaph farm in autumn 2017 has been recovered from an industrial unit near Wigan.
"The investigation is continuing."
